Once the ruler of the NB’s four-digit roost, the New Balance 1500 has seen some serious competition of late in the small-‘N’ category thanks to the 16- and 1700s, as well as headline-grabbing renditions for the ENCAP’d 13- and 1400s.  But make no mistake, the NB Fifteen still comes through with consistency, churning out solid colorways season after season no matter which other models accompany the 1989 New Bal flagship runner.  This upcoming drop is right in the wheelhouse, a suede and mesh composition with select leather hits and enough burnt orange to guarantee some strong sales in Austin, TX and among the Longhorn faithful.  They’ll be arriving at select retailers next month, and you can hook your horns into the pre-order available now from Hanon.
