Did the best custom sneaker of the year arrive on December 31st? We’re not going to pass judgment on that (you can in the comments though) but there is a strong case to be made for the Air Jordan IV ‘Python’ by JBF Customs. The concept kept the Air Jordan IV ‘Bred’ colorway that you know and love intact while turning up the sneakers with a crazy luxury look via that beautiful snakeskin treatment (and don’t forget the red lambskin liner). The good thing is that we’ve got another look at them and some info on how to purchase a pair. They will be up for grabs tonight at JBF Customs in very limited quantities. I have a couple of custom hats from him in the past and the material is top notch here. He sold 10 pairs of these and I was one of the first to order. I am super excited for these and well worth the $600 in material and timeIm not a fan of painted customs and this is as unique as it gets. Already in talks to make another snakeskin custom with some of my other deadstocks. Good job again JBF

shoes are not overpriced considering the leather and craftsmanship and the time it takes to make these. custom exotic skinned boots retail for that amount plus. the only downfall i c to these is the python upper will outlive the midsole which will eventually crumble but i guess u can resole. nice shoe if u have the money to buy

I did this years ago Customized some fresh white AF1's with Gator, Ostrich,White Snake & Stingray. That price ain't bad if he's rebuilding from scratch the entire upper and the Leather is premium. HEAT!

I'm confused... About a month ago sn ran a story about these and they were in a kids size. It was said in the story they were made by the shoe surgeon, but these are made by someone else. So are there 2 guys now making the same shoes?!?! I already contacted the shoe surgeon, so who's this?!?!
