The Air Jordan XX8 will very much carry on the recent Jordan Brand trend of flagship sneakers offering up several different styles of wear. Rather than a switch-out modular system though this pair’s main transition comes from the zipped-up/zipped-down looks. These are basketball shoes. Meant to be worn with shorts and a jersey. Not to be worn with jeans and a shirt. These are $250 because of their performance on court. For the last time, these are shoes for basketball not for you to fucking wear to school and out. Goodness.
Oh my goodness, from look at the comments, I wish people could feel the same way about Retros as they felt with these, sighhhhhhhh*. Finally an easy cop, but with a freakin $250 price mark. Same shit as buying retros from a reseller.

@Fosterakahunter @cavematt That's because this is Jordan's flagship model for the year. Retros are produced to a certain number, then production stops. These will be in production all year.

There pretty ugly, but its made for performance. i swear every new model jb creates looks more futuristic... this is for the dudes on the basketball team that want to play at their highest ability.

looks like fishing boots. SO ugly zipped up. Zipped down isnt much better either. Youll prob see people try and rock em with the zippper up and with their pants doin some crazy shit like the kid in this pic tryin to start a new style. No thanks. LOL.
Ill be honest...i think thats tinker hatfeild wearing these in that pic....i have the dvd that came in thebox for the 23's and he was wearing 23's with both pants legs rolled up...i could be wrong ..but hell ....shot in the dark

You know, I picked up the Wolf grey 2012 last year because I got an employee discount on them & they actually were pretty comfortable & didn't look too bad with the short inner boot ( I never used or wanted to see what the Hi strap looked like)
However these XX8, Damn... They are truly trash.. I don't care if these are sitting on outlet shelves everywhere, I just couldn't spend anything on these.... I don't think there's anything that could save these..
JB could always make these in a Galaxy colorway, South beach colorway or a Year of the Snake Colorway... Then I guarantee the beasts would get the Thirst!

i cant believe JB for coming out with this shoe but i hate to say people will still buy them just because their Jordan's. But he totally stole Gary Payton The Glove shoe style the gloves look way better than these anyway. these shoes r to high u can never wear these shoes with shorts pants or gym shorts

I like that these are different than anything else out there, but zipped up and that looks like a lady' shoe.
I bet Tinker doesn't even wanna do Jordans any more. I would love to know the inside story. These are garbage and I can't believe that he thinks these are innovative. I just hope they are not getting by believing that people just don't accept these cause their new... ahead of their time. They suck, period.

The high boot look reminds me of the carnivores I like these and would consider buying if my paycheck wasn't tellin me no lol
part of me wants to like these for the innovation. with the whole zip up thing, but they still look weird to me. they look to slim and when zipped up it comes up to high. reminds of me of something you would wear in a pool. lmao
after holding these in my hands i still feel the same as i did before (i like them alot)
