Capping off our morning of ‘Black History Month’ previews is the Air Jordan 1 ‘BHM’. The pair is oozing with crazy details that should make it a coveted pick up come February 2013. The upper is all reflective with a speckled print layered over the top. The outsole is an icy one and the insole pays homage to Michael Jordan, Spike Lee, and Carmelo Anthony. And of course the customary ‘BHM’ branding shows up on the tongue tags of this very special Air Jordan 1 Retro High release. Forreal these not that bad, but wen that 3m in affect they loock TERRIBLE....The color way do mess up the mature ness of the retro 1......Its like sumbody granddaddy trying to be hip and rock snapback, tru's and jays...lol
No offense to anyone but I don't see how these resemble Black History Month at all other than "BHM" stitching on the tongue. I think it's official, Jordan Brand needs to FIRE their designers IMMEDIATELY and hire new designers!!
ehhh idk concept is cool but, i wouldnt cop. and btw does everyone else have that complex bar ad in the middle of their screen?
im fairly sure they just needed a reason to release these shits & "BHM" was the closest unimportant date to them...thats how i feel TBH. no one in they right mind can compare these to ANYTHING in Black History
woah, yo seriously, where is all this hate coming from.? these joints are nice. id definitely cop a pair. I love the 3M and the colorway is nice, granted the color combination probably has nothing to do with black history month its still a solid color scheme with the speckles. they arnt gonna be the best pair of kicks to drop in February or march but still a solid pair. so if i do have a chance to cop, i will.
Having a hard time seeing the correlation between these colors and BHM?? Somebody help me out here. When I think black history I think of red, black and green.
When I think Black History Month these are exactly the colors that come to my head. Think these are something, wait til you see the Spiz'ikes
They were running out of ideas then came up with this bullshit.
What's so Black History about these?
I like how the reflective paint looks, kinda like grip tape, but in the light of day, that blue speckled upper doesn't do it for me.
