Following up the ‘He Got Game’ colorway of the Air Jordan 1 Retro ’97 is this another mock-up based on an original colorway – the popular ‘Playoffs’ that hit stores early in 2011. It features a tonal black leather upper with the clear AJ13 cues on the upper dimpled panel, the holographic Jordan Wings logo, the Jumpman on the tongue, and the JORDAN flap at the base of the laces. Hybrids always have a tough time grasping the attention of Air Jordan purists, but do you think these are perhaps the most “clean” results we’ve ever seen? More of the Air Jordan 1 Retro ’97 “Playoffs” below, so take a look and stick with Sneaker News with potential release information for Spring 2013, and review the entire listing from dopekicks23 on eBay.
Now we know where the quality leather went. I bet they would of actually sold a pair of the red ones had they released these first..... Those red one will be at the outlets before the snow thaws and birds start chirping!!!!
they could've added the hits of nubuck! but after looking at these, i like how the leather looks. it's a clean shoe but i still prefer my playoff 13s
NO MORE FUSIONS Michael,Gentry & Tinker. More colorways and collabs of 1 retro model & 1 RETRO MODEL AT A TIME ONLY. NOT FUSIONS MAN!
These look like a cooked up shoe that a counterfeit manufacturer came up with. That leather does look nice though.
@DreamChaser If they're going to do it. They need to do it right. I agree with you.
Truth. I think some people just like to complain about Retro quality out of habit. Retros been looking pretty good since at least 2011. Are they as good as og? Prolly not, but a loaf a bread ain't a nickel any more either. Get over it.
@muthatrucka real talk homie... I do wish sum of da retro had da leather dat bubbles out like these... but they retros. Can't really complain about it
