Air Jordan devotees the world round have a dilemma on their hands: to buy the Air Jordan III ’88 ‘White/Cement’ or not? Yes the pair just came out two years ago, but this one features the ‘Nike Air’ on the back, and you’ve been begging for that little element on message boards since you had to log on with a dial-up modem. $200? Really? They still say "Jordan" on the bottom. Not worth $200 for that. The only people rushing to stand in line for these are re-sellers, hypebeasts, and chicks who think they are "cute" sneakers...not real sneaker collectors. You might as well put the extra $50 on top and cop the XX8s...

What's the difference between a guy buying them because he thinks they look nice and a girl buying them because they look cute? They're both buying them for the way they look... I know for damn sure if I caught a glimpse of them walking along the street I'd rather look up and see that they're attached to a girl.

at first I was like "maybe da quality is actually better" but these pics show me that its not. WELL at least they aren't pre-cresed like the 2011s.. but yeah I am content with my 2011s, don't have any need to drop money on these

@TheSneakerGuy @James Lowery - I can't really vouch for these being pre-creased, but did you cop the Fire Red IV's? I got two pairs that came pre-creased in places that wouldn't even crease if worn.

@jpolo23 No they will release them in 2 years again with nike on the bottom too.
And 2 years after that they will color the air unit back to white and make the elephant skin a softer grade. So if we wait another 6 to 8 years we will have all originals again.

Cant be mad with Nike/Jordan Brand... these cash cows are looking like geniuses for the past decade...Make a sneaker, release it and rerelease it every year or two, charge $200, release only to large retail stores and twitter followers, then do it again with a different color... @ricckkyyy yep they crease pretty easy and they are notorious for paint chipping. At least the 2011 3s were.

@wcwktb @Lilmr81 I wore my black cement 3's from 2011, maybe about 25 times and they look all butchered, chipped and cracked soles, and the elephant skin gets murdered very quickly. And i'm a real sneaker head with 80+ pairs and i'm real carefull with these babies, still they're dying fast.
