This year’s Nike Basketball ‘Black History Month’ collection will arrive, ironically, a few days before Black History Month itself gets going. The Nike Kobe 8 ‘BHM’ is one third of said collection, and will make its NBA debut a few days prior when the Lakers play on Monday for a Martin Luther King Jr. Day special. The sneakers sort of end looking like the middle ground of the collection-the graphics on the upper going further than those on the LeBron X pair but not looking quite as busy as that on the KD V. Continue reading for a better look and keep in mind that Concepts is one of the spots that will have these next Saturday.

@joey P The swoosh and heel are 3M shoe really looks dope in person. I scooped mine up yesterday
def passing on these..just drop the ASG pics already and it better be fire red!! i do not think nike would drop 2 orange cw for the mamba that are going to be semi-limited but maybe it is just me!
the white sole kill it for me and they are dropping the same day as the penny 5 total crimson which i aint going to pass on and if nike really care the Black community they should of lower the price not pumping it . greedy bastards
@Kervens89 Wouldn't that perpetuate a negative stereotype that African-Americans tend to have a low socio-economic status?
@m20xr @Kervens89 hell naah... it would say u actually care about black history month & da individuals dat help shape it
@FoamFanatic @m20xr nah man who put Nike as high as they are right now the afros , so by just putting it out there at such price shows that they worrying about the bank roll more then satisfied a community who actually cares or use to , I celebrate me being black everyday and having a month to celebrate where you coming from is racist enough for me when every other races celebrate theirs everyday . There shouldn't been no time to celebrate any kind of race . No wonder y racism ain't never going away
