Air Jordan XVI Low – Dark Grey – Metallic Silver | Unreleased 2012 Sample
January 30th, 2013 by Brendan Dunne | 11 comments

It appears that the Air Jordan XVI isn’t coming back, at least not for the time being. And while you can mourn the fact that this sneaker isn’t getting a retro treatment, look on the bright side-at least we get to see what the folks at Jordan Brand were cooking up for the re-issue. Shown here is an Air Jordan XVI Low that was sampled up for Fall 2012, the upper sporting a stealthy look whose crinkled nubuck kinda looks an echo of the Air Jordan V ‘Wolf Grey’. Continue reading for extra angles on the Air Jordan XVI Low sample and keep in the mind that you can still own a pair, all you gotta do is check out the auction from oregonsole on eBay.

F*** them over at JB... The XVI low is one of my later favorites. Plus dipping out on the Cherrywood highs... only to release a series of 1's in 13 colorways and other BS. They are doing a serious disservice to loyal fans.
most these 16s are better than what actually retroes last year.
If these actually came out you guys would be like 'nah 16s are wack' and 'hypebeasts only.' For real, 16s suck.
...look like some ish peter Pan would wear.
Wow 2012 could have been the year of the 16s. Now it feels like it's going to be a loooong time before the finally retro.
Id rock the cherrywoods tho
Nawwww *chief keef voice*
