Among the deals an eighteen year-old LeBron James signed before ever playing an NBA game was with Coca-Cola following the 2003 Draft. ‘Bron’s been sipping Sprite ever since, and along with that has come a steady stream of Nike Basketball releases whose colorways were inspired by the lemon-lime soda’s distinctive branding. The Nike LeBron X Low ‘Sprite’ brings us another this summer, continuing the lineage that started all the way back with the Zoom LeBron III Low PE. They’ve added a lighter blue shade to the traditional royal for a new twist on the crisp limon flavor, and with an eye-catching array of contrasting Flywire cables, speckled midsole and two-toned outsole, could these be the best ‘Sprite’ LeBrons yet? It looks like the shoe is pulled taut against your foot, which is not bad for basketball, but these seem like they are NOT casual wear sneakers. The Sprite VIII Lows are probably the best Sprite's their are..
