If you haven’t seen the movie “Space Jam”, we highly recommend it. In fact, it’s probably listed somewhere on an IMDB list of “must-watch movies for sneakerheads”, joining Spike Lee’s “He Got Game” and “Do The Right Thing”, “Blue Chips” starring Shaq, Penny, and a slew of other young stars from the mid-90′s, and more. These Air Jordan VIII ’Bugs’ are one of the select few that has achieved its nickname from a film, but Jordan did some damage in them as well when he wore them briefly during the second half of the ’92-’93 season. Enough with these dumb nicknames already. They werent calling them "Bugs" or "He Got Game" when they came out. why do they have to "re-brand" them now?

noone in the movie space jam wore these not even bugs so why did they mention that? the shoe got bugs from the commercial for the last time idk whos writing these articles or what they on but they should do some research
@DesmondDiggaDezDavis back in the day people rocked them with tucked like rabbit ears. That along with the color way may have also contributed to the name

@DesmondDiggaDezDavis in da advertising back then, their was a pic of mike palmin Marvin da martian like a basketball & bugs was next to him in these shoes. So dats where it comes frum. And I think mike had on da aquas in da pic... but u can Google it & find it. But dats where it comes frum...
@Da_Real_Big_Infinite @DesmondDiggaDezDavis i know bugs was in the pic it was also a retro card i think and he was in the commerial for the 8s when martian tried to take all of them but im just saying why they say it got its name from space jam when bugs or noone else wore these in space jam?
