Sneaker Con Miami February 2013 – Event Recap

It was another hot weekend in Miami – much in part due to Sneaker Con opening up its doors once again! This past Saturday’s event welcomed the biggest crowd ever at a Sneaker Con Miami date, with the line for tickets stretching 100-deep all day long. Inside the Fieldhouse, it was packed from wall to wall with enthusiastic sneakerheads looking to get their buy/sell/trade on, and the scene was so action-packed that Mike “The Situation” decided not to go in because he couldn’t handle the – wait for it – situation. The next Sneaker Con Miami promises to be bigger and better because a new venue is in the works (a preview is at the very last page – it’s double the size of the Fieldhouse). Some news for Sneaker Con fans who aren’t in Miami – we’re hitting Washington DC and NYC in late April and Chicago in May! Sucks driving 2 hours to an event, waiting in line for an hour, only to realize that nobody had a pair of anything larger than size 11. Was a great event for kids and midgets, I guess.

Yea well they should take their pics with their mommies too. They're the real sneaker heads working behind the scenes for their little puppet kids. Kids shouldn't be getting massive shoe collections or every new version of the iphone from their parents. This is America. Spoil your kids rotten. Of course there are different levels of being spoiled, but children should not have the yeezy 2s, the paranormans, and definitely not the mags. Even if they got the yeezys(1 or 2) at retail, those are still too expensive for some little pimple faced punk's parents to be copping for em imo. Parents need greater discipline in this country, and need to challenge kids more, instead of giving in to every demand they make. Maybe if we had less self-entitled grown brats in this country, we wouldn't be in such a dire situation. Maybe its not the president's fault, that since the 80s, kids have been getting more and more spoiled, and this country as a whole has become less and less self-sufficient.
