Despite an admirable comeback in OG colorways and such, the Mid-top Air Force 1s got no love last year. XXX was all about the Low and the High, and although it’s a sad truth that the Mid has suffered from middle-child disease for ages, some NYers still love these Uptowns without fail. An upcoming GS size of Gym Red/Squadron Blue/Obsidian might turn a few heads as it employs that ‘Godzilla’-style cracked pavement material (like a new elephant print), with a smooth leather on the heel and strap.
