Air Jordan III “Dope Boy” Customs by El Cappy

Gone are the days when the 8 Ball jacket was just a coveted item on the streets as a crispy pair of Air Jordans. Reviving that time though is this custom pair of the Air Jordan III from the likes of El Cappy. The Air Jordan III ‘Dope Boy’ swaps out the Jumpman on the back end of the sneakers for the 8 Ball logo and slaps a gold chain look on the upper. Believe me this is not hate it is constructive critiquing, he has better work. Nothing to respect about this work, the idea is old and the shoe is the wrong one. There are some mistakes in the painting of the chains as well, to be technical a rope chain does not look like that, the Chanel type chain which is actually a belt the black behind it should weave in and out of the chain, and the Gucci link does not look like that either. They look like a rush job compared to some of his other shoes.
Man, some of yall or some haters. I wouldn't wear these but I damn sure respect em. These are fly as hell. From the gold elephant print, to the gold jumpman with the ring around him, to that dope ass heel tab, to the detail around the collar.. lots of work put into it and well worth it if you ask me. Very nice, well done.
colors are pretty dope but that chain business ruins these.

from the past record...... n****s was never looking good with ropes and chains on'em unless it was real gold.... :).

Okay didn't Crooks and 10 Deep do this years ago. Stop disrespecting classic sneakers too with all this nonsense!!!!!!!!! Start putting it on paper first, and if it don't look right there then, it DAMN sure won't look good on any shoe.

The execution is perfect, color blocking is on point. Overall a great custom job but it looks like something you would find at a discount mall/swap meet. I'm conflicted but it's still great work and attention to detail
