On Wednesday morning, adidas held “Innovation Day”, unveiling the all-new Boost cushioning technology while giving us a sneak peek into the future of adidas Running innovation. It started with the presentation of Boost material, which is as light and durable as EVA Foam (used by over 90% of the footwear industry) and will be used in future adidas Running models like the adidas energyboost, which will release later this month. Other innovations such as “Springblade”, which features a completely foamless midsole, was also previewed. Attending the event were two of the greatest names in the sport of running – Yohan Blake and Haile Gebrselassie. We’ve got a recap video of the day’s events as well as some exclusive photos so check it out below and stay tuned for the February 27th launch of the next big thing in Running – adidas Boost.
