Dwyane Wade definitely made his own way in this evening’s 2013 NBA All-Star Game, ending up with a strong 21 points while it was all said and done. On the sneaker side he’s making his own way as well via his new Wade imprint under Chinese sportswear powerhouse Li-Ning. The first commercial from the partnership has just arrived, and the spot features Wade out in China calling the shots design-wise for the new Way of Wade sneaker. Total respect for the man on the court and off the court for pushing this brand, no matter the reason he really left the Jordan Brand company.
But to this day the material I've seen with his name on it looks like nothing that impresses me, it might be a smart biz move for him to launch some super rare/limited stock stuff, because style wise it's mos def nothing iconic going down right now.
