Last October, the sneaker world was shaken by the official announcement of Chinese brand Li-Ning’s partnership in Dwyane Wade, who ended his tenure with Jordan Brand after three rather forgettable years. While we were treated with a consistent flow of Player Exclusives of the Way of Wade, a release hasn’t gone down yet, but this ‘teaser’ style roll-out might be working since our readers have responded increasingly well to this new design. Sneaker News was first to show you the Li-Ning Way of Wade ‘All-Star’ over the weekend when we spotted them at Dwyane Wade’s All-Star party; two colorways were part of the set as Wade intended to switch shoes at the half (although he never did). Hate on these if you will but they're made of quality materials and are selling like crack on Ebay. Just copped a pair of WoW "Warriors" and I'm loving them so far.

I'm glad to see Wade's kicks exhibiting some original design touches instead of borrowing from Jordan. That Rorschach-style midsole and clear outsole really is ill. More of that kind of thinking will advance the brand.
This was a good move for Dwyane. You can't cast a shadow if you're living in that of a by-gone era (no disrespect to Jordan). jordan is what made his shoes special (evidence by the resale value of Jordan-worn kicks vs. that of those not worn by Jordan), and Dwade is what will make these kicks memorable or forgettable. I'm cheering for both DWade and Li-Ning! I welcome a new entrant into the highly competitive industry of kicks!
I guess he's trying to sell them on the Player exclusivity factor. For 2k, D-Wade have better played (well) in them and signed them along with the rest of the Eastern all stars. lol
