How was your conquest for the Nike LeBron X ‘Cork’ over the weekend? The sneaker proved to be one of the more difficult purchases of the young year, and promises to be a muse for the custom creators going forward. The latest to whip up a tribute is Expression Airbrush, who outfits the Nike KD V with a cork look on this creation. The mature, brown and red combination gets painted on for some places, and put on with actual cork in others (Just check the shots of their premium packaging). Thanks for the comments positive or negative I really appreciate them. I'm a fan of the Lebron silhouettes they make for some of my favorite customs. Not to be confused with fakes. This shoe is a tribute to the Lebron Cork. I did it keeping in mind that some would not understand it. And yes they are not corks thats why the "UnCorked" double meaning not cork ready to party, celebrate or what not. Now I respect the meaning behind the true corks. But remember these are customs and the beauty of customs is that 'you have the freedom of express!on" With that in mind and no offense to the champ. but this weekend i'll uncork a bottle. Who said popping bottles was reserved for champs i know most of yall pop them. Loosen up yall.. enjoy and thanks Again!
@robee519 Doesn't matter bro. You're not original lol. You took a already done colorway, and threw it on a ugly sneaker. You did something thats ALREADY been done kid. YOu didn't have to type out an essay to get all the haters to give these lame customs another chance. Pointblank, they look terrible. This is my honest opinion. You make people like me who design sneakers for a living feel disrespected looking at these "Customs" now adays.

@SneakerHeadsAreCorny @robee519 Wow seriously? Customs are art, the beauty of art is you can express yourself however you want. Be it doing something crazy original or doing your take on another work.. Does this mean that bands who "cover" a song are unoriginal or disrespectful? I dont tink so, in fact I think doing your take on another persons work is paying homage to the original artist. Like he said its a tribute to the lebrons, so I dont agree w you at all. Why do you feel disrespected? I dont get it.. Anyways Im not a huge fan of the Cork CW (On LBJs or KDs) but i respect the sick airbrush work and the presentation overall is well done. The concept behind the cork was that Lebron won a championship and could now pop the cork from the champagne bottle.Corking another player with no championships is dumb to me

@Da_Real_Big_Infinite have you got any cork soled shoes..they hold up fine just get a bit of mould after a while which is easy to clean
