The lucky Devils have been receiving Player Exclusive colorways of Kobe Bryant’s signature models for several years, perhaps because Kobe Bryant allegedly intended to attended the Durham school had he passed on the NBA Draft. Let’s say Kobe decided to skip out on the NBA and win a National Championship – chances are he might not have ended up with the Lakers because Vlade Divac would probably be unavailable as a trade chip even if Kobe delayed his NBA arrival for a year. Hypothetical scenarios aside, the Blue Devils now have two PE colorways of the Nike Kobe 8 to boast – this Black/White base with the signature Blue on the midsole, lining, and heel-clip.
