The latest from Converse Japan’s U.S. Originator capsule reaches back to the wild 1980s multicolor prints that inform today’s pattern trends.  The Converse Chuck Taylor All Star ‘Retrotropica’ features four pairs split between high and low covered from heel to capped toe in sketches of leaves and fruit, with a red canvas base adding colors reminiscent of the New Orleans Hornets for a more high-contrast feel than the blues, which opt for mostly cool-colored hits.  Click through to compare and let us know which of these you prefer, then hit your overseas connects because these aren’t likely to arrive at American retailers.
