The latest in a long line of sneaker collaborations connected to Japanese hip-hop collective Teriyaki Boyz comes courtesy of the member they share in common with RIP SLYME.  The Ilmari x adidas Originals Superstar ‘Tribe’ sees the Finish-born Japanese emcee go with a style not totally dissimilar from the originals made famous by Run-DMC.  The key differences, and the apparent source of the nickname come from the vaguely Polynesian zig-zag band that wraps the collar, an effect composed of the same sequins that define the side panel Stripes.  These are slated to hit select Far East retailers next Friday, March 15th and you can see more shots after the jump.
