2012 was an incredibly great year for sneaker customizers, and if we had to choose one to stand above the rest, one strong candidate would definitely be the Air Jordan 1 “Brooklyn Zoo” put together by PMK Customs. Just ten pairs of these finely-crafted Air Jordan 1s released at UNKNWN in Miami, and of the limited amount of owners, two of ‘em have recognizable names – LeBron James and Jay-Z. Jay actually wore his pair a few times and was even spotted taking a picture of his own kicks while sitting courtside at a Nets game with Beyonce. Not only has a pair hit eBay, but this one features a super-limited Brooklyn Zoo wooden box made by GoodWood, and according to the seller, only three boxes were ever made. Nah. Would be an excellent collectors item though.
