Another Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG is joining the mix in the month of April in the form of this crazy patent leather pair. The upper is a shiny black affair with a crisp metallic gold Swoosh cutting across the mid-section. And, as denoted by the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG stauts, this pair will have the ‘Nike Air’ treatment on the tongue, and the colorway does indeed line up pretty closely with the ultra rare black and gold Air Jordan 1 OG. See more on the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG in black/metallic gold (Release date April 13th) after the jump and tell us you like what you see.

Black/Metallic Gold – White
Might have to cop these. But would have to wait till these go on sale, can't be dropping $140. But I am a sucker for black & gold, and Nike Air logos. Which is good.
Clean, but not as clean as the black/gold patents that came out before most of you youngsters who are gonna buy these "collected" kicks.
Can anyone tell me how they think these will fit? My gucci 1's with the jumpman ran true to size, but my knicks with "nike air" ran .5 big. Any insight anyone? How did the royal 1's fit? Thanks homies
Ooook... these are hot. SN messin up on info again... grabbin these fa sure.. espc since my April was lookin horrible in da kicks dept
I see what I'm getting for my B day.... I thought nothing good was coming out around the time but I was wrong.... I would like to thank JB for this release....
MY PRAYERS HAVE BEEN ANSWERED, I remember seeing these in a Chinese Mag with all of the OG Air Jordan 1 High colorways.
SN writers, PLEASE step your research game up. These ARE an OG colorway. In fact, they are the most famous of the OG colorways. Only a handful were made, and in the 90's a pair was sold in Japan for something crazy like $24,000. Due to their rarity, these were one of the OG bootlegs as well. They were SO rare, that even bootlegs were cracking triple digits when they showed up on the secondary market. Though I believe the gold glitter/clear sole is a new addition.
Damn I wish these were quality leather instead, still clean though. These are my school colors, but I probably will pass. Not bad
@John2581 you mean the ones with the Black sole ?
@John2581 I mean it's not our fault that we weren't born earlier to pick up og's. Let that junk go.
@bigwill516 and the shaq attacks too thats if your into those
@famsb9 you can get them at any footlocker, footaction, Shiekh...... It should should be a general release.....
@Jay_law15 there not a og colorway they just have the og tag on em cause the nike air on tag to justify jb with the price increase
@Jay_law15 dude, chill
@Jay_law15 ie never seen this shoe with any og 1s ever
@jshortt Yes I got this wrong, oversights like this do sometimes happen when we are trying to bring the info to our readers before any other site does. Respect to you for your knowledge on the colorway. I don't think you can call it the "most famous" by any means though. How can a super rare colorway that the vast majority of the public has never seen in real life be more famous/well known than the OG black/red or white/black/red? Also, I believe (the history is obviously kinda muddy here) that the original pair came with a white midsole in the sample version, whereas the 15 F&F pairs had a blacked out midsole and a bit more gold around the ankles, so I don't think it's 100% accurate to call this an 'OG colorway'. Thanks for reading and thanks for commenting.
