We close out tonight’s magnificent preview of Holiday 2013 Air Jordan Retro releases with a look at the Air Jordan X ‘Steel’ – another original from the 1990′s Air Jordan catalog. Despite being an original colorway, Michael Jordan actually never played in these, and with some rumors regarding a special detail on these focusing on the “Laney” concept, could we expect something similar to this unreleased sample of the Steel X, which featured blue and yellow Jumpman logos on the outsole, or could Jordan Brand re-do the outsole and add in some other highlights in Jordan’s high-school career? Must have for me so I can add them with my royal blue 10's, please leave them original!!!!
I think they'll be the laney theme on the outsole. Just a guess. Cool theme this year especially if that 5/11 pack is true.
Jordan actually did play a game in the steel 10s. In 1994 when he was retired he played in a Scottie Pippen charity game at the old Chicago Stadium. It was the last game there before the bulls started playing in the United Center...just sayin http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-AhmLH6eJPk
I saw these on Martin recently. So I guess the new name will be the Martin X's like the He Got Game 13's
