So the rumored release of the Air Jordan IV ‘Lightning’ didn’t go down, but it looks like there will be a Jordan release with a yellow upper and an Air Jordan IV sole dropping this April. Here’s a first look at the Jordan Son of Mars Low in the Tour Yellow colorway; this low-top version of the 2012 Son of Mars continues the Spiz’ike sequel in a rather exciting package, mixing in that Lightning profile with an Air Jordan IV outsole, Air Jordan III elephant print, an Air Jordan V tongue, and a revised Air Jordan VI upper. Extra angles are below so take a look and expect a release on April 13th at an MSRP of $140.

Obviously the yellow makes it less attractive for some pp. But the combination of Upper/Elephantprint works fine for the Son of Mars low. In comparison to the black/purple colorway mix and match, this should be the way forward on this model. Replace the Yellow/Purple with other color combinations and this could be a winner hybrid.
These are a lot better than the black and purple pair, but that doesn't mean they're good...
I like em. Not the best colorway but I would ball in them.

I don't hate them but it's a little much seeing so many retros thrown on one shoe. The black/purple ones are a little more subtle and I actually kinda like them but it's a little much seeing these "frankenstein'ed retros".
