Li-Ning Way of Wade “Gradient Peel” Customs for Dwyane Wade by Mache
March 12th, 2013 by Brendan Dunne | 8 comments

Mache was apparently commissioned for two separate custom colorways of the Li-Ning Way of Wade by Dwyane Wade. Shown here is the second of the two, the ‘Gradient Peel’ version that is a bit more abstract in its colorway. The white overlay is meant to represent D-Wade’s smooth demeanor, whereas the peeled back colorful madness below stands for his depth and unpredictability while on the court. Get more of the Li-Ning Way of Wade ‘Gradient Peel’ from Mache after the jump and tell us in the comments if you’d like to see these kind of off-the-wall looks on the sneaker when it finally does arrive at retail.

wade customized it because the shoe is too ugly
where can you get these retail??
too much graphic... kinda looks messy
these wades look fine themselves
Damn those actually look good. Li-Ning should play with some of those colors for future releases. Honestly, the thing I don't like on the Wades is patent leather, which is something they seem dead set on using.
No amount of customized work can make these horrible shoes look good. SMFH!
at least he tried to do something better than that hideous "War Machine" monstrosity.... *shivers*
Looks like some top quality leather on the wades
