Nike Hyperflight “Lightning/Kevin Durant”
March 12th, 2013 by John K. | 13 comments

We just showed you the unnamed “Superhero” colorway of the Nike Hyperflight, but Nike’s got a trio lined up to match with the Big Three – with this ‘Lightning’ being the Kevin Durant version. It’s a bit funny for ‘Lightning’ to be the chosen graphic for Durant, who plays for the OKC Thunder, but Nike hasn’t really confirmed anything outright regarding these being a parallel metaphor to KD and the other two stars. These are indeed slated for a release this March 29th, so let us know if your psyched about the Hyperflight release or if these really aren’t on your radar.

...on the fence with these Flights. But,i must admit that Melo is appealing in that color-way.
I cant wait to get those
Can they show da kobes ones please
i thought these were going to be dope. guess not
Gotta see a better picture of those. I'm not a big fan of overly graphicized shoes, but those look like they got some potential. At any rate, it's nice to see Hyperflights come back.
What is going on?! Durants are heading for a disaster!
Lmaoooo you must be new to sneakers @Sneeky
@Ay_YoAri Yeah, you're right. i'm new here.
The irony is, I've been collecting all AJ's here in Japan, UNCONTESTED, buying from a sneaker shop in Shinjuku, Tokyo district - known for advance selling Nike products before they even release there in the US.
Foam Galaxies, Doernberchers, Yeezy's, XI (Breds & Concords), Nerfs, Weathermans, X-mas, Easters, BHMs and Area 72's collections are literally being snubbed here because Japanese customers prefer New Balance and Asics Tiger over Nikes.
On my part, I start appreciating my purchased Nikes AFTER I see them on Sneakernews or Solecollector and much hyped is already been created.
The latest I purchased a month ago are the KDV Aunt Pearls - bought four pairs for my nephews. And they are yet to be released there in the States. I'm not complaining at all - it's just like I don't have any competition at all purchasing AJ retros & supposedly limited quantity Nikes. i'm no online seller either because we're not allowed to being in the service and holed up in a US Military Base here.
I collect AND wear them...not using my eyes feasting on them. That's my way of enjoying my Nike collections.
PEACE.
@Sneeky what branch? I'm got a buddy stationed out in Japan in the AF
@Sneeky .....You know these aren't actual Durant shoes right?
This pair turned out worse than I expected. Thankfully it'd not the one I'm gunning for
