The Air Jordan V updates continue as we get a first look at an Air Jordan V Retro in Game Royal, Gym Red, and Metallic Silver. This never-before-seen colorway is a clear tribute to Jordan Brand athlete Chris Paul of the Los Angeles Clippers, as seen by the matching team colors on the scratch nubuck material upper and the embroidered “3″ on the heel of the shoes. These are allocated to be a Holiday 2013 release, but as these are a Promo Sample, it is not entirely clear if these will end up hitting stores or if these are just a PE for Chris Paul to wear in games. We’ll keep you updated, but check out the gallery in the meantime.

The colorway on these are so fucking dope....
These are actually GOOD. So knowing that, and the fact this is Jordan Brand... you know they will find a way to scre us over. 'Us' being their loyal customers that keep their business afloat. I reckon if they release, CP will get this awesome version, and we will get either a SUPER limited release that only cater to resellers and will go straight to ebay... or some lame cheap looking dulled down version with some small detail that makes it go from awesome to average... as is usually the case with JB. God knows no one is gonna buy them ugly CP PE's... or ANY new products from JB, as all their new stuff is ugly and irrelevant these days... New Jordans are crap looking and have been for over 5 years... new P.E's are the same, no one wants CP's, Melo's, or anyone else, yet we all want Kobe's, Durants, and Lebrons... from NIke. And thats not just the players doing.. CP is awesome, and Melo... just the brands ideas of GOOD looking sneakers. Just hang on to those retros JB! And make sure we only JUST get what we want, with only a slight detail throwing it off... so that we keep buying, but are never really satisfied... wink wink, nudge nudge... i see what you're doing! Nice one.
I'm liking these but are they really a CP3 tribute? Not only has he just been in LA going on 2 years but he might not be there when these actually drop. And it's not like the clippers historically have anything to tribute.

That blue is sharp and the red translucent sole is a nice change (a good look like the Bred XIs). If this version drops, I would cop.

I wish they would release some OG colorways this year though. We're only getting the Fire Reds and Grapes as far as I know. I support all the new colorways, but seeing it's the 23rd anniversary, we should see some OG colorways like they did with 3's and 4's.
@23kicksfor23chicks What are you talking about? Both Fire reds, and the grapes are dropping this year! That's 3/4 if i'm not mistaken. Only ones missing are the Metallics, and you know why.
