If you had to pick out the best sneaker from each individual year going back two and a half decades, which would you select? Complex decided to do that, compiling the results in a feature they’re calling the 25 Best Sneakers of the Past 25 Years. There are some that probably aren’t too debatable (Air Jordan III anyone?), but the list is far from textbook and definitely contains a few left field nods as a Supra is selected and a trail-ready Nike Free model shows up. Get a quick sample from the list after the jump then see Complex for the full feature.
1992 – Air Jordan VII
1994 – Reebok Insta Pump Fury
1996 – Reebok Question
1997 – Nike Zoom Spiridon
2000 – Nike Presto
2003 – Nike Air Zoom Generation
2005 – Nike Free Trail 5.0
2012 – Nike Flyknit Racer

@fly li lol this list isn't based on reseller rape prices. i would put the roshes up there along with the other classics. they're talking about design not colorways.
@fly li its shoe design, not individual shoes.....
