Following up on a mid/late-’00s faux retro runner derived from Three Stripes’ classic ZX running series is this new release from adidas Originals. The adidas Originals ZXZ WLB 2 makes a sequel for a model that by now has faded into a greater degree of obscurity than the 700, 8000 or other models that’ve been popular in recent years. The styling is unmistakably mid-’80s running, but with all-leather builds, these also point back to that decade’s new breed of lifestyle sneakers a la Reebok Classic Leather. Have a closer look after the jump so you can see how this new release compares to all the other models with which it’ll be competing for your ’80s running dollar, then grab a pair from retailers like Oneness.
