Nike is continuing its hyperactive streak of basketball sneakers with the upcoming Nike Zoom Hyperfanchise. As indicated by the name, the model will indeed be equipped with Hyperfuse for its upper. That futuristic construction ends up see through on certain parts of the design, giving the model perhaps a bit more breathability than its contemporaries. See more on the Nike Zoom Hyperfranchise via these initial catalog renderings below and make sure you keep it locked on Sneaker News to find out the background and eventual release info on this new Nike Basketball design.

Who the fuck is in charge of Nike basketball? The recent designs they've been putting out are ridiculous. Ridiculous in a bad way, the designs don't flow at all. The design is stupid. The name is stupid. If I was design director I never would have approved this concept.
@DominicD i'm hoping this is a sign that Jordan and Nike have swapped a couple of their designers
@JustSoChill @DominicD I think Justin Taylor and Chad Little are doing great at Jordan lately, and a couple of my friends are designing there now so I have faith that they'll continue to turn it around. I'm just having a lot of trouble seeing any redeeming qualities of the recent Nike basketball performance models
@DominicD @JustSoChill i totally agree after seeing the super.fly 2's Jordan is definitely headed in right direction but i think Nike is taking a lot more of a let's see how far we can push the technology without worrying about looks before people stop buying our shoes ,especially on the cheaper models, with lebron X lows, the H.A.M. and even the hyperdisruptor to a point
