Jordan Son of Mars Low “Tour Yellow” – Arriving at Retailers

Mars Blackmon had dropped out of Air Jordan advertising by the time Michael won his first NBA title against the Los Angeles Lakers in 1991.  Here we see MJ’s statistically jaw-dropping late ’80s and first taste of championship glory all mashed into one as the new Jordan Son of Mars Low takes on Tour Yellow and Grape Ice.  Particularly with the classic Brooklyn-capped character so prominently on the Air Jordan VI-style lace loops, this first lowtop Son of Mars colorway evokes the Showtime-era Lakers on the heels of a similarly styled AJ1.  No sign of those special camera insoles, but there are indeed quite a few details to examine below, so have a closer look and get ready for the Saturday, April 13th release date.
