Fila will continue to draw on their back catalog of basketball silhouettes with the retro treatment of Kevin Johnson’s Fila KJ7 sneaker. Of course the 3-time NBA All Star is currently serving as the mayor of Sacramento, which means that the re-issue should put him at the top of the heap as far as politicians with a mean sneaker game (Sorry Barack). The Fila KJ7 is set to make its return for the 2014 NBA All-Star game in both a Phoenix Suns colorway paying tribute to Johnson’s old squad and a Sacramento Kings one that nods to his current home. See an early rendering of the returning FILA KJ7 right after the jump and tell us if you remember these sneaks from back in the day.

Converse missed the boat here because the Converse kicks KJ wore back then were dope these I'm on the fence.
