The playoffs are coming, which means its time for Nike Basketball’s top notch athletes to switch over to their elite models. Rather than any of the gaudier colorways we’ve seen, it appears that the Nike KD V Elite and the Nike LeBron X Elite will be hitting the hardwood in some simpler white and and gold makeups. Said gold sections reflect the yearning for a championship season, one that’s very much a possibility for both Kevin Durant and LeBron James. Whether or not Kobe will get there is a different story, and it seems like his Nike Kobe 8 Elite has been set apart as a result (Sporting a black/gold colorway and not releasing until June 1st). See all of these Nike Elite basketball models after the jump and tell us which you’re looking forward
They could've made the same colorway on the normal Kobe 8 and it would look EXACTLY THE SAME! i don't see why everyone likes the Kobe 8 Elite so much if almost nothing has changed. the KD is definitely the best one of the three. it has the most improvements, and it looks nice!
Their all jus ok to me.... Da lebrons are dam near exact in cw as last yrs. Da KDs look like a low top version of last yrs hyperdunks... Kobes are nice. Love da fact da fly wire is black. Gold hits come off strong... Prices are ridiculous tho.. Still might consider da kobes
very dope!!! would have liked mamba on the upper burt very cool! reminds me of the 4th all time scoring but with the flywire!!! i think i am copping if this drops on april 20!!!
The Kobe VIII Elite is the only shoe that is tolerable. They made the flywire too visible on the KDs like they did for the Hyperdunks last year, and the LeBron is just hideous (I was also not a fan of the X in the 1st place).
But I will NOT pay $200 for a Kobe shoe.
