Supra keeps going with the surname-tagged sneakers, utilizing more suggestion and implication than traditionally overt muse-attributing nicknames. Take for instance this new Supra S1W ‘Cunningham’, a design with clear Red Wing Boots overtones. The ‘Cunningham’ tag doesn’t seem to connect with legendary Philly Eagle jersey number 12 Randall or current Timberwolves reserve player Dante, but a glimpse of the classic construction does indeed bring to mind ‘Happy Days’.
