A strange fact about the Air Jordan V “Grape” is that it’s so widely popular despite MJ never wearing them in a game. It has no special dunk or game-winner tied to it, but it was one of the first Lifestyle colorways of the Air Jordan Retro to hit the scene and was seen on Jordan’s feet on the cover of the Air Jordan Flight Collection look-book from 1990. Jordan Brand will indeed pair the Grapes with the “Black Grape” version later this year, which stands to be one of the coveted non-OG Retro releases of the year of the V. We’ve got a few weeks before the release date arrives, so check out the official Jordan Brand images below and stay tuned for a release on May 4th.

@wayfarer79 I will have them on the day, and who cares if its legal or not. Are resellers legal?
I wonder how many of you goobers were alive when the V's originally came out? I hope when I go wait in line to buy these on May 4th its not a bunch of pre-pubes whose balls haven't dropped yet....
Seen enough, 20 postings ago. Pics still dont do no justice; gota have em on my feet! Cant wait fellas : )
I wrk @ champs so ill have 10 pair of 9.5 on deck, so if interested u can leave me a comment. Location is in Michinga
Here we go again just like the Fire Red 4's....... But anyway the 5's aren't my favorite but this is a good colorway like most 5's colorways
@wayfarer79 u sound like a hater
@Kjp3 So you bought 10 before they have come out, and now your gonna scalp them....is that even legal????
@Kjp3 Im a big guy, i wear 12
@igorrro 5s fit true for me..Try them on..its a shoe store they cant stop you from doing it
@igorrro I totally agree that jordan brand sizes are not consistent from shoe to shoe. The 5's always run a half size big for me. I typically wear size 11 but I had to get a 10.5 for the 2013 fire red 5 release and plan to do the same for the grapes. Hope this helps
