Among the casual styles Vans pioneered in the early 2000s that has since been copied by several other brands is the espadrille. This jute-woven sole design is a traditional European shoemaking method, and it turns out the look is just perfect when applied as the foxing sidewalls to a vulc-soled shoe. The Vans LPE Espadrille is a perfect example, this low-profile Era adding a bit of extra intrigue thanks to the earthy sole that along with the organically-uneven uppers is crafted from hemp fibers. Check out two colorways in detail after the jump, then grab yours from Off the Wall stockists like Titolo.
