The forecast on tax day is cloudy for many, no matter how sunny the skies. This turned out to be a good thing for Foamposite fanatics and Kevin Durant fans, as yesterday brought us a first glimpse at a crazy new One with meteorological detailing. This ‘Weatherman’ Nike Air Foamposite One applies the Doppler radar look that made the Zoom KD IV of the same name so spectacular. Reactions to this pair’s first viewing appeared fairly polarized considering the popularity of the Weatherman KD 4s; further proof of just how important this iconic silhouette remains within the sneakerhead community and how much people adore the classic unibodied Foams. Check out some new images below and let us know where these would rank if they end up making it to retail.
There really should by some sort of topography in all that white space. It makes them look cheap as fuck
The KD IV Weathermans were done so well - Get rid of the white and blue (or only keep white and blue, hurricane effect) and it may have a better chance. Good idea but bad execution at the moment.
I dont think these are the pair that will be released....Who remembers the first sample of the galaxy foamposites?... and you see how that turned out....
Ok these pics look better but make the laces black.. foamposite laces too damn big to be exposed keep it black. Once again the radar fucks it up, just keep the clouds
cool concept but the execution is terrible - really sloppy, crappy image and application
like of you're gonna try and jock the steez, at least do it right
crap pics too but i doubt it matters
What can I say, I actually like them. Nice color way, shades, and hope to have better quality if they will actually be made in Taiwan.
Did anyone else notice the "Made in Taiwan"All the old, good quality foams were made there back in the day!!!! We can only hope for higher quality!!!
I like the graphic print on the foamposite although this is not a great example, I do like the gradual fade of blue on the sole.
