While there may not be more Kobe Bryant coming for this season (Get well soon Mamba), there is more Nike Kobe 8 coming. This purple pair is on the way for May, and curiously carries a “Playoffs” designation from Nike. That’s not something we see slapped on too often at an official level, not to mention the fact that the Lakers are still in jeopardy of not making it to the post season. And if they do make it to the post season, they’ll have to go it without that future Hall of Fame player.
