How thorough is your knowledge of vintage Nike trainer models? If you really know you’re history then you should be familiar with this, the original Nike Air Cross Trainer Low (A pair that’s not been retrod-but we’ve come kinda close what with the Nike Air Trainer ’88). The sneaker is oozing with awesome detail: Air Jordan III-style lace holes, the slightly awkward “Nike Cross Trainer” text hit towards the front of the design, the “Made in Korea” designation. These were the step-down model from the Air Trainer.  They also did a mid version with forefoot strap, as well, minus the text panel.  I I recall correctly, Nike also made a cheaper version minus the Air cushioning, as well, sharing most of the aesthetic specs with these Air Cross Trainers.
