Nike Sportswear has offered several examples in recent years of resurrecting long-lost series with warmly received new models. Here we see Three Stripes’ heritage division do something similar, offering a style that itself extends a model only brought back into the mainstream by a few months worth of retros this year. The adidas Originals Tech Super 2.0 is quite similar to its forebear, but two decades gave it a chance to try on new design elements like Torsion Allegra-ish overlaid Stripes and a pull-tongue setup you’d be hard-pressed not to connect to another Nike classic and OG Tech Super contemporary in the Air Jordan VI.
