Sneaker Con took the Windy City by storm once again, touching down in Chicago this past Saturday, May 11th. The event was one of the largest Sneaker Con showings to date, with over 60 vendor tables propped up throughout the event space peddling all kinds of crazy heat. Matching that of course were the wares and wears brought by attendees, who showed up with hard to find Nike Basketball pairs, Nike Air Yeezys, Air Jordan relics, and more. Continue reading for the event recap from Sneaker Con Chicago May 2013 and stay tuned for an on-feet specific group of photos later on. Also, don’t forget that the next stop of the Sneaker Con Summer 2013 tour is Atlanta on June 15th.
Man, so many dope kicks!! Wish I was there. And on pg.6 3rd to last pic on the bottom is a customized AJ III "Grape"? And a customized AJ III "Syracuse" lookin' colorway on the right next the AJ III "Crimson"?
The thing that bugs me about these small companies making stuff like shoe inspired cell phone covers or snapbacks is that they limit their own creativity. Making something that completely rips off a shoes design, or another company's logo isn't creative.
Wale sighting on page 6 lmao. But really though, to see that the love of sneakers doesn't have a certain age, race, gender or size to it, is a beautiful sight
the table in the first 4 photos on page 4 is straight up ridiculous. Oregon IV's, Red Suede Brons, Tokyo V's, Oregon III's, and so much more. I wish i still lived in Chitown so i couldve been there, but i guess ill just have to wait til Sneakercon NYC...these pics definitely have me even more excited than i already was though.
@bigga23 There was more than one and that is a Jordan town lol
Or socks, or tees. Just ripping off the ideas of others' original ideas that are popular and iconic.
@newsouth912 XD N**** does look like Wale lol hahahaha....
@JFresh_136 Check out the Sneaker News Feet Recap for those shots. There are TONS of feet pics and LOTS of HEAT!
@JFresh_136 yea, there's major heat there but seeing more of what the people attending would've been nice
@JasonJFiendAntokal When is Sneakercon coming to NYC?
