The New Balance 996 is perfect. The 1988 runner is considered one of the finest ’80s NB classics and has done a great job of late combining its classic lines with vibrant contemporary colorways. Here we see New Bal go one step further, combining this quarter-century veteran with a brand new cushioning platform. But instead of remix the 996 in a futuristic style, these M996 RevLites hide the updated tech inside the silhouette we’ve come to know and love, ENCAP’d sole included. Stick with Sneaker News to see exactly when these Fall 2013 releases drop and let us know which of these five you’re most excited to buy.
