Today we had our first look at the Nike KD VI “Meteorology”, a sneaker that seems to follow up on the famed “Weatherman” theme that made its debut on the Nike Zoom KD IV. Of course, the Nike Basketball team tends to shy away from using the same theme multiple times, so they have a sort of sequel in the works with this one (Think of “South Beach” vs “Miami Vice” in the LeBron line). As you can see the shoes put on a black and pink colorway, one that’s got all sorts of topographic markings and bizarre little logos along the upper. See more on the Nike KD VI “Meteorology”, release date August 3rd, after the jump and stay tuned to us for some clearer shots of the shoe.

Does anybody else see the irony of the name of the model in relation to where the signature athlete plays?
