It looks like the Asics Gel Lyte III will be getting a little bit more stateside love, as CNCPTS up in Boston has apparently been granted an SMU. The resulting sneaker is shown here, one that will no doubt garner a couple of comparisons to Ronnie Fieg’s “Salmon Toe” creation of old thanks to the blocking. The design is far from a ripoff though, planting a slick speckling sole across the bottom and throwing some rather rugged looking suede up top.
