The rumblings surrounding the potential release of the red Air Yeezy 2 continue with this latest update that zeroes in on the coinciding June 18th release date of Kanye’s upcoming album Yeezus. While nothing has been directly confirmed by Nike in any way, there was some provocative information and theories that we laid out when we discussed a potential third release of the Yeezy 2 a few weeks back. This latest image reveals something rather straightforward – a June 18th release and what appears to be 1,000 pairs made, although what method of release hasn’t been made clear. Will it be included randomly in copies of his album? That seems to be a popular theory at this point, so stay tuned to Sneaker News for more updates as we near D-Day (or Yeezy-Day) on June 18th.
UPDATE: As we told you before, the potential release information surrounding the Red Air Yeezy 2 has still not been confirmed by Nike or any official sources. Now, Ibn Jasper has stepped up to let us all know that the Red Air Yeezy 2 release date of June 18th is definitely not official at this point, so we’ll just have to wait for the final word to come down from Nike and/or Kanye. Stay tuned for the latest as more info emerges.

Fuck kanye....he weak and he on sum fag shit too...black grapes will shit on these....I dare I see a yeezy..
Air yeezy ones were dope, the yeezy 2s look like before Christ ugly dinosaurs, leave these to the goddam cavemen, only resellers will buy.
hypebeasts. yeezy's are ugly. NONE of you would even give these a 2nd look if there weren't the "yeezy" connection.
I'll buy and stick them all up in Kim Kardashian's big booty phatass!!!...until Kanye cries for help boozing his Hennessy Cognac.
Did a chat with Nike customer service and they said there is a production date for the Red Yeezy 2 in October 2013 and that IF they did release would most likely be in 2014, but I've always gotten different answers from different people with the Nike chat representatives
@QKicks word....thats a great idea
@Da_Real_Big_Infinite it's "from" moron. it's not like you get anything that's not GR anyway. you're just an ordinary cat frontin like you're the sneaker guru.
@NickBartzis I think your on the wrong page for this comment. The Lil Wayne's Spectre are a few pages back!
@Big_Infinite yo stop trollin... its not a good look.
kev@Kev Loco lmao if you think lil wayne or kayne west make music.
I stick to my comment, and I picked those words carefully... no need to explain it to an ignorant hater @john travoltron like you... I am with you that "Yeezus" and whoever coined that nickname it is lame. Internet arguing is for dummies yo.
@heat_meiser @NickBartzis: lol. do you even know what those terms you just used mean?!?! musical "pioneer" and "artistic visionary"? i can tell you one thing, they don't sample. they would be doing things way ahead of their time. things that have not been done before. carving the path for future artists. he has done NONE of that.
he can write a beat, i'll give you that one. but you're WAY overrating your "personal yeezus" here.
oh, and a "pioneer" or "visionary" wouldn't nickname themselves "yeezus". they'd be too busy working to pull a jackass move like that.
@NickBartzis @Kev Loco Lmao if you don't think Kanye West makes music, that is as idiotic as saying Lebron James doesn't play basketball. You can say what you want about Kanye West but he makes better music than half of the rappers out, combined & he makes way better music than you ever will. And if you take the time to reread my comment and comprehend it, you would get the joke. Its honestly quite funny to see Kanye West haters. Because no matter what facts I bring into this, you will still think your "opinion" is true! I'm going to tell you what I say to everybody that has shit to say about Kanye West's music. Don't listen to it, Don't read about it, Don't look it up, and Don't comment on it. Do those simple things and you can live a Kanye free lifestyle.
It is called Sneakernews for a reason! You wanna talk about music go to RollingStone, Billboard or you can start a little hate site for people just like you!
@NickBartzis stick to your taylor swift homie -
Ye's a musical pioneer and artistic visionary.
Not on his dick, but I respect talent.
