If you’re going to update the NB996, there are a couple of indispensable colorways that demand to be modernized. Here we see the original grey and white suede and mesh makeup refreshed for 2013 as the New Balance 996 REVlite gets close to the OG GY edition whose color code they share. These appear to add some additional reflectivity while opting for a darker shade of grey than the classics, tiny degrees of difference that separate this homage from its parentage.
