The Nike KD VI draws ever nearer, as the very first pair should be in stores by July 3rd. Giving us a better idea of what to expect from the new shoes are these shots, which show off the unique packaging they will utilize. Rather than the standard orange Nike Basketball box, this go-round sports the KD logo on the top of the box along with a bunch of weird, geometric designs. You’ll notice the liberal use of the hexagon, a choice which we can only assume ties in to this being Durant’s sixth sig. Continue reading for a couple more angles and tell us if you like the new packaging for the Nike KD 6.
I just like the color way the shoe overall is a no for me. And basketball wise this isn't a smart shoe for KD to play in
@pasoez007 dude... it's obviously a football shoe
@pasoez007 please, just please, shut up
Logically, a 6' 9" guy shouldn't playing in that low of a shoe, low tops are OK but these are really low. If there lockdown is good then there shouldn't be a big problem
Actually the KD Vs were top 5 minimum in performance this year. Look it up... The KD IVs were the ones that were bad for basketball.
@JFresh_136 he has the agility of an elite guard and hes very skinny, unlike lebron who is heavier and more physical. kd is practically a guar who is oversized, so he needs to play in a guards shoe, and a guards shoe is low and light weight, so technically, these shoes are good for him
@JFresh_136 He's 6' 9", no doubt. But his game is mostly on the perimeter, that's where he is the most effective. So I assume he needs the extra mobility a shoe that low provides. You remember how Kobe got the inspiration for his shoe because of the shoes soccer players wear? In KD's case, that's probably the thinking, just taking it to the next level.
