What’s truly exciting about Flyknit (and why we ranked it as the third-best sneaker last year behind the Yeezy 2 and Galaxy Foams) is that the possibilities are truly endless; not only can we expect a full line of new footwear, but the classics reborn with that Flyknit material (we are eagerly awaiting something like the Flyknit Max 1). What we’ve seen from Flyknit since its debut in February of 2012 hasn’t really changed, with the Trainer and Racer upper construction being mixed around with Lunar outsoles and Chukka-cuts, but here we get a first look at the Nike Flyknit Hyperfeel – a sneaker that looks like it is cut out for high performance.

The Flyknit Hyperfeel debuts a new pattern of knitting, with an ankle cut that’s just between the normal runner and the Chukka. The flat outsole with square traction pegs also features a graphic of a thermal footprint, giving the shoe more of an inner-bootie appeal. We’ve been waiting for the next Flyknit to wow us, and although the design does look track ready rather than street-ready, it’s certainly exciting to see what’s coming next. More photos below, so take a look and stay tuned for more updates.
