Nike Barkley Posite Max – Dissected
The Nike Barkley Posite Max is the next sneaker to go under the scalpel. In this gallery, not for the faint of heart as always, the “76ers” colorway gets pulled apart. The icy sole is ripped off and the upper itself gets bisected, all for the sake of seeing what’s on the inside of this brand new $235 design. Do these sorts of shots make you think about whether or not the sneakers you’re spending are worth the money, or do you not really care what goes on on the insides? Tell us in the comments after you see this Nike Barkley Posite Max dissection in full gruesome detail after the jump.
Amazing how one pair of dissected sneakers can impact so many people all over the world lol...btw can you do the kobes next im convinced theyre not made of anything.
I like. The shoes are far better constructed than I gave them credit for. Still doesn't justify the price tag, but at least I can now see what the money goes to. I like these posts, it gives us something interesting to look at because i'm never cutting up a pair I paid for. lol.
Why are so many people upset??? One pair of shoes out of God knows how much. If you're not interested in it don't click on it. I personally love building things and/or taking them apart. We all know most of Nike's shoes have not too good quality for the price you pay, so someone decided to take apart some Chucks and see what they're made of, if you don't care or you're mad about it then why did you click on it in the first place...
Seriously ??? Ya'll cursing at the screen like he came into your bedroom in the middle of the night and took these from you personally. Has anyone ever heard of "Customized" Pairs ??? Oh yea that's right they "mystically" appear from a custom shoe fairy.
....Just a thought and quit ya BLOODCLOT CRYIN'
Sheeh yall tears are drippin off my screen onto my keyboard.....yall cryin like its your pair. Personally I like all the dissected posts....cool to see what my $100-$300 actually goes to. People talking bout the sneaker game fuck up....from a dissection?? Get off ya high horse its way more reasons the game is fucked up. If the do a Yeezy 2 imma have to cover my keyboard from yall crying asses.
You take apart a shoe for what exactly? Y'all new guys taking lame to another level, this shit right here is why the "sneaker game" is corny, treating shoes like a high school science project
Thanks a lot for doing this it really shows the brain washed society we live in..I read the comments before writing mine few i agree with few i dont as everyone has there opinion.
Is just im confused i understand the whole supply and demand the hype beast and all but i dont think nike knows how to do business. For example they make jordans lebrons etc they know for a fact they are gonna sell out in seconds..and resellers will take advantage so for a foam whose cost before hitting a retail store is 120 + 120 store mark up = 240 lands for 350 on ebay so nike they didn't gain..vs look at a company like apple whose turnover is more then some european's country's economy still they launch a product make sure people have it at launch or sometime after order.
My point dont overflow the market but people who are true fans or gonna become fans should get a fair chance to buy instead of paying double or triple.
Pushing is good but dont push someone so far that they never come back..
Thanks for reading my comment..peace
When they dissect a pair of yeezy 2's I will grab my popcorn and look at all the comments of people crying.
why would this make me question if they are worth the money? that comes down to simple supply and demand. They cost what they cost because they can still sell out instantly at that price; it has nothing to do with what they are made of. Waste of a shoe here
I would rather have see them dissected the Air Jordan 5 "Elephant Print" instead of these, Poor shoe.
I LOVE when they do this, for two reasons.
1. It pisses off these little whiny peons, those that have more feelings for a damned shoe, instead of humanity.
2. It shows exactly what these idiots are clamoring for, plastic and foam.
Really special, isn't it?!
Does anybody actually like when they do these? I would rather they should do a giveaway as long as they're getting rid of nice shoes...
@Enrik Tell 'em why ure mad bro. lol...(Personally i see it as the same thing as someone who buy expensive kicks to ball in) What you do with your kicks is your business)
Here's what seems to be flying over your head, Nike is treating YOU like a high school science project.
"Let's see what we can get these stupid idiots to buy next! Let's make some kicks out of Saran Wrap, then call it the new barefoot technology!"
@Bigga23 poor shoe? it has feelings and emotions now?
@Longstroke exactly brotha! you took the words right out my mouth.
its funny seeing all these hypebeasts get all EMO over shoes lol. ITS FREAKING HILARIOUS!! IM STILL LAUGHING!! It's also funny how yall get crazy and pay crazy prices for THIS CRAP. Yall know Nikes aren't worth half of what they are charging, but they got you brain washed. IF NO ONE BOUGHT THE SHOES, they will eventually get discounted to the price they are really worth.
@Royboo I like it, because it gives insight to how they are constructed
@Royboo yea it exposes the cheap materials and how nike has yall in the palm of their hands. having you pay whatever they want you to pay for basic materials.
its good they expose these to parents so parents dont spend so much on shoes. they can buy their kids 2-3 pairs for 1 of these.
@Royboo word. a waste, a needy kid needs a pair of shoes. its not like its for science or anything.
@boodle81 I agree. With all the innovation Nike deploy in each shoe, it's nice to see how it all holds together. Seeing how all the pieces come together like a puzzle is also probably really good for designers.
It's sad to see a nice shoe get shredded like this, but there is at least a purpose behind it.
@moises alderson the ignorance is real. don't waste the 250 and buy multiple shoes for multiple kids. just don't throw money away.
