About three weeks ago, Sneaker News gave you a first look at a mod to Eric Koston’s second Nike Skateboarding signature model involving a Free forefoot sole and Max Air a la AM1 at the heel. Today we have proof that this is a movement making its way across the entire SB signature series, as along with the Nike Eric Koston 2 Max, the Stefan Janoski Max makes its first appearance. The Koston has some Air Max 1 Hyperfuse flavor at the toe, but that’s a minor shift as compared to the Janoski Max’s boat saddle plus Roshe toe meets Free Run bootie and barefoot appeal. Let us know what you think after seeing more of both below and stick with Sneaker News to see if these follow the Koston Heritage to retail.
I personally liked the Koston 1 better, but the K2 silhouette works better with the AM Free treatment. Still doesn't change the fact that Koston 2s are less comfortable imo. Janoski Frees are a joke. You might as well Free a Roshe, they're pretty much the same silhouette without the soles.
I dont really kno about those "Janoski Free's" they just don't seem like they mix with the free sole but those "Koston Free's" definitely blend better with the sole. It actually seems like its right in line with Koston's style.
@Whosdatswing I'm pretty sure the free sole isnt gonna be for skating even though they're put on SB's
